Kelvin Ng
Kelvin is a an award winning designer for his works in leather upholstery. He is the founder of Kelvin Giormani which specialises in many leather crafting features not commonly found in mass produced sofas.
The co-founder and chief designer of the preeminent Hong Kong brand – Giormani and international brand – Kelvin Giormani, Kelvin Ng graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in International Business and Marketing. With the great opportunity to chance upon collaboration with a well-known German sofa brand – Weco Polstermobel, Kelvin was deeply inspired by the German design team for its process of realizing new designs and creating contemporary sofa designs from A to Z. Since the fine occurrence, he began to practice designing as well as developing his distinctive style gradually. His hard work paid off when he was named one of Hong Kong’s top 40 designers under 40-years-old by a leading interior magazine – Perspective. Following the feature, Kelvin won various awards such as the Prestigious Young Industrialist Award and Pinnacle Design Achievement Awards. He was even invited to exhibit his designer chair – Enego in Art Basel Hong Kong three years back.
